Q: Is there a discount if I (the customer) re-use my ESL container or even if I use my own?

A: We have been asked this question a lot. It is great to see the consumers concerned about the environment and encouraging recycling. If you currently have an ESL container and wish to buy another candle by reusing the same container you will receive a discount from the retail price of the candle. It will be the responsibility of the consumer to send the used ESL container back to Earth Spirit and Light.

Q: Why are soy candles better than paraffin candles?

A: The wax that Earth Spirit and Light uses for it's candles is 100% soy wax. This means that the candle is made from pure soy (vegetable) oil. Here are some benefits of soy candles:

• Earth Spirit and Light candles are made from 100% soybean wax.
• Soy Candles are a non-petroleum renewable resource.
• Generally burn cooler and longer than petroleum-based candles.
• Burn cleaner and do not contain toxins or carcinogens.
• Are water soluble, meaning they clean up with soap and water.
• Are eco-friendly, promoting the growth and care of our environment.

Q: Do soy candles last longer than regular candles?

A: Generally, soy candles do burn for a longer duration than petroleum-based candles. The burning time is also dependent on how you care for your candle. Please see Candle Care to obtain the best burning times for your ESL candle.

A: Yes. Earth Spirit and Light offers a wide variety of scents (see the Products Page). We also offer non-scented candles.
